The Children's Performing Arts Foundation ("CPAF") provides scholarships to support children in the performing arts in Southwest Riverside County.

We believe that there is no more powerful change agent and influencer for human good tham the arts.  Arts transform children’s lives, not just children who become artists but children developing into whole complete citizens. Arts teach compassion and empathy, they guide the conscience and challenge assumptions, they are the training ground for our imaginations and they make us feel.

During the darkest days of World War II, Winston Churchill was told by his finance minister that the money the government was spending supporting the arts needed to be diverted to the war effort.  Churchill’s reply was simply, “Then what are we fighting for?”
